This UGA game is a kind of a dream for me. My family’s GA roots run deep. Can not wait for this ass kicking

If you want to be the best you have to beat the best.
The first question I have is whether Sherman is too anti-BSU football to give the team a pep talk before that game.

Sherm should live BSU football . He is always preaching we need to think outside the box. BSU Football is always thinking outside the box. Just this week we tried to win a game without playing Defense. We sent out Mass emails inviting thousands of recruits from across the nation to our game Saturday. Then today we drop a winnable game to take on what could be two time defending National Champion. These outside the box moves have had “Ball State” trending nationally twice in the last two days.

Outside the box thinking also just banked us at least an additional $1.5 million also. If we keep it up we’re gonna start looking like Kent State with their non-conference scheduling.

I like next year's OOC schedule. Two games we can win and two games we get paid and get to play in good environments. I think that is ideal for us. Sure, we may be 1-3, but we have the MAC schedule to make up ground. If we don't have a winning record against the MAC we don't deserve a bowl game anyways.

How far does 3 million plus go as far as supporting the athletics? Assuming we get about 1.5 from Ga.

We owe them money for the cancelled game if it does not get rescheduled, then Army still has to fill that weekend.

They surely are paying Army off. Total is going to be over 2

I have my likes and dislikes, but I can also be bought for the right price. A heavy dose of Sherman NIL is just the thing to give BSU a chance to win.

I agree with you to an extent, but ideally you'd rather see 2 winnable power conference games - IU, Purdue, Iowa, Nebraska, Maryland, Rutgers, etc. I realize you can't always predict who will be good 5 years out, but it's a pretty safe bet we're never beating Ohio State, Georgia, etc.

How far does 3 million plus go as far as supporting the athletics? Assuming we get about 1.5 from Ga. The football team itself loses over $10 million a year. The combination of title IX plus all the male football scholarships is another enormous money drain, so...not too far.
