Hate it that the Bible "Thumpers" will win out. Where is Larry Flynt when you need him? By the end of the decade our OOC schedule will consist of some of the better flag football teams in the Midwest.

We should schedule one Power Conference school, one 1AA school, and two Group of Five schools. Stop killing our teams spirit with two Power Conference teams. |

Many of us may not be alive to see them, but we have a home and home scheduled with Middle Tennessee - 2033 in Murfreesboro and 2034 in Muncie.

Move all MAC home games to Saudi Arabia. In exchange, the sheiks will build a spanking new stadium (with AC) for each team and turn on a NIL firehose.
Of course there will be a huge impact on student life in that they may occasionally wonder why there are no longer minor traffic/parking disruptions around Tillotson and Bethel on certain autumn weekends.

With Army going to the AAC next year I wonder if our game with them gets dropped again. I would suppose that’s karma for us dropping them to play Georgia this year. Not sure how that all got organized but sounds like we need to be ready for that again.

FBSchedules.com is now showing our game against Army as TBA. Army will now open their season at home on 8/31 against Lehigh.
A cursory check of MAC teams suggests that none of them have an open date the first week of the season. So likely more dominoes to fall in our 2024 schedule. It's going to be hard to move stuff around since most everyone already has a game booked opening weekend.
