Why did Hazen not play again? That is 2 of last 3 he has missed or not logged any PT. Bad back.

Are we more athletic than the MVC teams we have played? I think that is the surprise We will be more athletic than most teams here on out. The problem with Whit's teams have been smart play, D, and fundamentals. I will definitely take this win any day, but yet another game with 15+ turnovers and more TO's than assists (18-15).

Good win, but when you consider the refs it was an incredible win Did you watch much of the game, or just go off of the free throw count? We got a couple of absolute GIFTS down the stretch. I was most pleased we had an answer every time Loyola made a run. TREY MOSES even made a couple of big plays when the defense cleared out. We don't win tonight without any of this board's favorite whipping boys. We should take any road win against a solid team, though Loyola seemed out of sync for about 30 minutes. Let's keep it going against the Valley!

Shot very well. Out rebounded them.
Played just enough defense. Give Coach credit he has put teams on the floor for two road games well prepared and ready to play.
Good game, enough to beat MAC opponents, except Buffalo if they played well.
We need Hazen to come back and play well, Ish to play a level just a better to be a really good team. But give Gunn some credit here for play off the bench. This is one I had not expected to win.
We have some games coming up we need to win, and need to be at this level as we go into conference play.
We will be at the highest rating for a BSU team in a very long time after this win.
Halftime will have to wait a while to whine and complain, and naysay maybe...

Gunn did do well shooting but we can not play him when we need D. Need to find a way to get him more shots though

In other words...we have clearly reached "December" in the annual BSU basketball rinse cycle.

It is a good win. I went back to see what Loyola lost from last year and it was much more then I originally thought. They lost 30 points from last years squad and 14 boards. They also lost 2 starters and their 6th man. I honestly did not know this until checking sports reference. No matter, it is still a good win in a tough environment against a good opponent. As far as Moses goes, he made a great play down the stretch by taking it to the hole with the shot fake but other then that, he was pretty awful. 7 turnovers and only 5 boards in 35 minutes is not getting it done. Krutwig owned him and Krutwig is only a sophomore. Trey did make the defining play at the end so we will take it but he has to be better if we want to beat Buffalo.

Agree they’re not as good. They have replaced some of those points and boards, had a recruiting bump, but losing Ben Richardson was their biggest loss. And I think you’re right about Moser. Kind of a nut job.
This was a very good win though.
