With Victor Oladipo going down likely for the season, what's a realistic expectation for the rest of the Pacers season?

That looked “career ending”. Will certainly have impact beyond 2019 due to being middle, or above middle of pack, draft positions.

I don't think it was "career ending" depending on the results of the MRI. Dislocated knee cap and likely ligament damage, but a player can return from that. The question is, will it be "career altering" in that his explosiveness and quick first step were what made him so dangerous on both offense and defense. If he loses that, he likely becomes a middling player and the Pacers are back to having no superstars.

Ruptured Quad Tendon is the official diagnosis. No idea what the recovery time table is for an injury like that.

Have watched the Pacers all season. They will miss Vic, but they have the tools and coaching to make a lot of noise.

Pacers by 42 against Lakers. Luke should probably be looking for a TV gig for second half of year.

The Pacers are 9-6 and 6th in the East after 15 games. They've had to hold their team together with duct tape, glue, bungee cord, and hope. Their injury report looks like a MASH unit every single game. The team hasn't played a single game with their intended starting unit (duh, cause Vic is out) and has only played, I think, three games with their pre-Vic return lineup. Yes they haven't played the toughest schedule in the world, but that's still pretty damn impressive given their deficiencies (most notably having a shit coach who runs a shit offense).
What can the Pacers expect from this season, and next when a majority of these pieces return.

This year it is all about how Vic will fit back into the fold. We have a very good bench and overall better players than in the past two seasons. Malcolm, Aaron Holiday, and McConnell are very nice point guards. Victor IMO will have to be our #2. Sit Lamb? Warren has been too steady to bench him. Coach has a lot of great options to work with. Nobody thought they would be 21-10 going into January. Go Pacers!

God damn the Pacers (and all of the NBA really) are soft. Jimmy Butler pulls that kind of shit and nobody on the Pacers team bats an eye. Used to be a time when he'd get laid the fuck out for antics like that, but not anymore
