I might move up to 8 based on the colts looking decent and the Foles injury That guy is cursed.

puzzling game from the colts, in that you might rank the quality of their units thusly:
1 special teams
2 defense
3 offense
and the quality of the performances against the chargers were in the reverse order.

I've changed my vote from 7 wins to 9 given the way they've played in the opening three weeks.

The defense is not impressive though I don't disagree on spec, but the defense also hasn't been healthy yet. They're missing one of their pass rushers, they were missing their stud LB for last game and their starting safety will be missing a few weeks. All that said, the defense has done enough to keep the team in games. As the season progresses I think we'll see the defense start to perform better as rookies get used to the NFL game and some injured players make it back on the field.

They have to tighten up the pass d, especially 3rd and longs.

They have to tighten up the pass d, especially 3rd and longs. That's 100% accurate. The second half against the Falcons was infuriating, but they weren't going to let Julio Jones beat them over the top. Drives had to go 9, 10, 12 plays with the thought being, given that many plays the defense is bound to step up and make a play at some point. It didn't happen every drive, but the D stepped up and made enough plays to win the game. It's the frustrating nature of the Tampa-2/Cover-2 base that the Colts run. I'm not saying that right this second the Colts are a top tier defense, but I think they've got a good enough defense to make sure they're gonna be in games (outside of games against perhaps KC who can beat you in 45 different ways). And I do expect the defense to improve as the year moves along. And if not then I'll be back here at the end of the season telling you that you were right.

Raiders, Broncos, Steelers, Dolphins, Bucs, and Panthers have combined for 3 wins in 18 games, and they still get 3 games against the Titans and Jags left to play. I'm not saying they win every one of those 9 games, but they SHOULD go no worse than 6-3. (And now watch them go 3-6 just cause I said that lol)

I've changed my prediction from 6 to 8. Brissett has played better than I expected, and with Foles and Rothlisberger done, and the Fish tanking (see what I did there?), 10 is completely doable. But I also think they'll lose a few they shouldn't, so I think 8 is realistic.

I might move up to 8 based on the colts looking decent and the Foles injury That guy is cursed. Rule #2 in today's NFL: don't beat the Pats in the playoffs. Foles is being punished by the football gods for beating the Pats in a Super Bowl. Short of laying a finger on Tom Brady (which rule #1 tries to prevent), that's the biggest sin a non-New Englander can commit.

Colts won’t sniff 10 wins this year if that shitshow is how they’re gonna play.
