Personally, I would prefer that the 6th overall draft pick doesn't get pushed backwards into the quarterbacks knee. I would rather he deploy some of his massive, unprecedented strength, flawless technique, super toughness etc. etc. to avoid that. But that's just me. In fairness to Q on that one play (not any of the others where he got blown up), it's difficult to maintain leverage when the guy is ramming his hand into either the facemask or throat (couldn't tell). It was clearly hands to the face. Again though, that was only this one particular play where I will stand up for Q. The rest of the last 3 weeks, I got no excuses because there are none to give. The entire O line has been getting worked.

I wonder if any team in the history of the league has ever had two first round picks playing interior o line at the same time. For that draft capital at those positions, there should be total, consistent dominance

I'll tell you what...the Raiders uniforms with the silver numbers are damn good looking uniforms.

Because lineman, even the best, should never, ever, ever get beaten.

Oh. I take that to mean your preferences are different from mine in this matter.

I just wish the Colts had a real alternate jersey (not just the color rush). Blue and white, while traditional, is also boring as fuck.

Woof. Losing to a team many considered to be the worst team in NFL history. That's high quality right there.

Vinny has lost the Colts about 3 games already. Hoyer and Ebron are also to blame for this one. Embarrassing loss.

Colts should have drafted a kicker with the #6 overall pick apparently!

Brissett was out. Hilton, Campbell, Wilson and Desir were out. This had disaster written all over it.

Much better showing by the Colts yesterday than the previous two weeks. The O-line decided to show up again.
On that note however, can we stop with the Nelson in the backfield bullshit? I get wanting to get your star player some action, but because Q didn't get into the endzone, he wasn't able to be out there on that 4th down play. It was only a 10-7 game at that point, if Jax manages a stop on that 4th down play (which they almost did because the line didn't hold), who knows how that game turns out. Line the man up at his position and run the ball like normal, stop trying to be cute to get your Left Guard a touchdown.
