Apparently Dakich has been suspended a few days from his radio show. the Indy Star article is not very clear why. anyone know the deal?

The prevailing theory is that it has to do with Dakich calling Langford a "shoe boy" though he swears up and down that he called him a "shoe guy" not "boy". Other than that, maybe he just got suspended because Emmis was finally tired of having a hanging Chad on their air for 15 hours a week.

but in this case, it seems like he might be getting hammered by the financial might of the shoe companies for openly discussing their sleaziness. |

There’s been so many people, schools, teams and companies he’s insulted over the years it’s hard to say which issue got him suspended.

Dakich as a college kid was much like he is now, a lose cannon without much regard to authority, without any tact or good taste. I am not impressed with any of the shock jock antics. Like his college coach a case of arrested development.
That the penance is as slight as it is says his shtick plays well enough. And that appeal means we will see him back, probably not very repentant, but maybe with slightly more caution on the shoe company front.

Well, it DID expose Calhoun as a “closet follower”. If he wasn’t already a MOD, we could have had Alan put him on Pylon Probation.
