Valpo is pretty good and should handle us easily. Hoping for better, but not expecting it. Keep getting better is the goal.

''The March'' goes on. VERY IMPRESSIVE!! With victories over Long Duck Dong, SC State, IU...er...Kokomo, and someone else I can't remember there is no doubt we will reach fifteen. The only question will it be wins or defeats first. Just remember Kid, last year wasn't looking too bad until ''The Streak'' took hold. Seventeen in a row. If we compete with Valpo I will feel good about that. We need to see fight. +1 Looks like we are a team that has to play hard nosed defense. At this point we are not yet getting out on offense and getting easy shots. |

If this team can dig down and play that hard nosed defense we'll have something. As we all know, MAC games are wars and bringing toughness is how you survive. We'll struggle to get good shots with our offense and Mac teams won't let us drive, so playing tough d is a must.
Would like for smith to look for his offense a little more. And hope Davis doesn't try to go hero ball like he did at the end last night with out of control hopeless twisting "drives." Not sure what that was other than selfish.

And we will lose those games unless we shoot very well. So what. Nobody in their right mind thinks we will be that good this year. What we want this year is to see some wins, and see the players get better, see a recruit or two signed, and progress continue. The staff has to prove that we can be good, not seal the deal this year. |
