Can we pull the plug on the indoor boondoggle or have the footers already been dug? That’s funded by private money.

Can we pull the plug on the indoor boondoggle or have the footers already been dug? We will dominate D2 football with that facility. Except the MAC will all be down a notch too.
D2 football might only lose 7 or 8 mil a year.

Can we pull the plug on the indoor boondoggle or have the footers already been dug? Why is it a boondoggle? Because it is yet another facility that holds you hostage to riding out FBS football until the bitter end

Because it is yet another facility that holds you hostage to riding out FBS football until the bitter end D-1 FCS programs have indoor facilities (almost required in the MVFC). Some DII programs have indoor facilities, a facility for field sports. We have many of them.

Can we pull the plug on the indoor boondoggle or have the footers already been dug? Why is it a boondoggle? Money spent to support a product that is successful 50% of the time and loses significant money performing to that level. That, in the business world, is NOT a good investment. Most say it is to stay competitive. We are not competitive now and very seldom have we ever been competitive. What would YOU call it?

Dude! Do you not understand that we lost that LB recruit we really wanted a couple years ago to NIU because we lacked an indoor practice facility? Him and a couple others that might have been swayed could well have put us over the top and into the StepFresh Kitty Litter Bowl last season!!! Can you imagine the national publicity, donations and applications that would have flowed in after that epic battle with Northeastern Mississippi Tech? The indoor facility is an INVESTMENT.

Oh yeah. Thanks for reminding me. I was forgetting about the titanic and irreplaceable asset that women's soccer is to the university and how getting them an extra 5 practices a year will transform the image of BSU.

Other sports will get to use it (at football's discretion and football will have first pick of time slots), but make no mistake, it is for football.

Better for the image of BSU than your constant barrage of negative posts. No wonder there is never more than 20 regular posters on the BSU fan message board. Your bullshit just runs folks off.
