Yes, it certainly has liven-up the last few weeks of the campaign. I can't wait to see how the FBI deflects what they have have been doing with the Hunter Biden laptop since taking possession of it last December. I'm sure Christopher Wray will come-up with something creative. Trump's choice of him to replace Comey certainly did nothing to drain the swamp. This is the biggest question of this whole laptop deal. The FBI has had it in their possession for over 10 months, so what have they been doing with this information? Yeah, TRUMP is the problem. Not the swamp. Excuse me while I facepalm myself into unconsciousness.

Wild ass guess, without looking at Delaware County guidelines... Depends on what counts as close contact for 15 minutes, but quarantine for team mates and class mates in at least some cases makes sense. Opposing players seem to me much more unlikely to be in that close contact/time zone, maybe a few. So all players from both teams have to quarantine and will miss the next 2 weeks of school.. Kids from School yesterday are deemed secondary contact and do not have to do anything. Since Several of the kids involved also play all stars it looks as if we are going to have to cancel at least the first week of all stars. Lots of heart broken little kids tonight

I trust the FBI more than Rudy is what I plainly said. Especially in evaluating something as evidence of any criminal wrongdoing. If your ace in the hole is dealt by Rudy and his henchmen you have a problem. Speaking plainly, what I suggested above (see my post about criminal family liability) is that the laptop is not good evidence of much. Apart from doubtful provenance. If Hunter Biden is guilty of puffing up his influence and power to try to make money and if he is offering to essentially be a lobbyist having contacts with a then ex-VP (2017), it seems a bit desperate and lame on his part, if not unsavory. But quite likely not criminal, even if proven genuine. It is certainly not evidence that implicates Joe Biden in anything. That the evidence could be ripped apart as unreliable is certainly a problem.

Oh no. Mentioning a $10 million dollar pay off for "The big guy", a.k.a. the vice president of the United States is really no big deal and not very interesting at all.
What, exactly is the Russian involvement you keep mentioning, by the way? Did the Russians, maybe, set up a fake computer repair store in Wilmington on the off chance that one of the Bidens might leave a computer with damaging material to be serviced? Or what? Or do you just reflexively spout hysterical Russian-oriented talking points, like some old McCarthyite nutjob might have done back in the day.
"Rudy and his henchmen"? I somehow doubt you would be making such a big deal of who exposed the laptop, if it were a laptop exposing the rampant corruption of Donald Trump's son and Trumps involvement. I think, rather, you might be focusing on the explosive content of the emails. I think, rather, your panties would have wadded to the density of a neutron star in that case.
It's pretty clear this laptop and its contents are what they are said to be, and I think you know that perfectly well, even though you are being characteristically dishonest about it. That's why you segued into some of the "well it's not important stuff anyway" talking points that have been provided for you.

Not the swamp. So you assume the FBI is corrupt? You instead trust Rudy and his Russian agent henchmen? Is this a serious question? Comey, McCabe, Strzok, FISA warrants... need I go on? You'll have to explain what "Russian henchmen" you're referencing. Unless you mean the known Russian agent that contributed to the Steele dossier.

So you assume the FBI is corrupt? You instead trust Rudy and his Russian agent henchmen? Is this a serious question? Comey, McCabe, Strzok, FISA warrants... need I go on? Rudy is a political operative whose efforts to deal dirt in an October surprise is part of a "fact finding" effort involving questionable confederates.
Do I trust him more than the FBI? Is that a serious question? This is mostly mudslinging distraction surfacing after the DOJ and FBI have not taken action.
In contrast, it remains puzzling to me that anybody accuses the FBI of political bias when the October surprise 4 years ago was Comey et all in the agency announcing investigation of Hillary Clinton weeks before the election.
As to the existence and extent of any later political bias, there were dozens of FISA warrants and a small number were doubtful and would not have been signed by Trump FBI officials if all details had been known. Since in those cases dubious basis for the warrants existed you can question motives, and the FBI is not without some fault. Note however that the DOJ and FBI had internal means to discover the error and it has been reported.
The substance of the matter is that administration officials and Trump allies were accused of activities with at least the appearance of impropriety. (But not 2 weeks before the election) With actual Federal statutes that applied leading in some cases to prosecution. With some convictions actually occurring. In this case are you even sure a Federal criminal violation exists for the lobbying Hunter Biden may be proposing?
In any case there is certainly not evidence that implicates Joe Biden.

Oh No! OBVIOUSLY this has nothing to do with Joe! I would never think that! Clearly Hunter Biden was the beneficiary to sweet multi-million $ deals and lucrative salaries from Ukrainian and Chinese oligarchs strictly due to Hunter's impressive competence and sterling character. It had nothing whatsoever to do with influencing his father, the vice president of the United States.

If the election is to turn on mixing family business and government influence, Trump family and associates certainly don't have a good record in comparison. Trump has not separated himself from such dealing or publicly criticized anyone involved, which Joe has done. I don't think this is a good issue for the Trump campaign other than the timing.
A couple of questions.
Am I mistaken or isn't the substance of the 2017 dealing which is the topic of the Post story that Hunter was promising contact with the ex-VP not someone who had any office at the time?
Isn't this "evidence" of Hunter profiting in OTHER dealings evidence only of wrongdoing by Hunter? Isn't it true that Joe Biden hardly approved of any of this or the previously known dealings?
Is this earlier activity or the alleged 2017 activity a crime at all, even if we do not approve of it?
Let's fact check some of this.
Take a look at this account of the business dealings
That this situation alleged in the Post article and other dealings by Hunter Biden should be criticized is true enough. I agree there. As I posted above neither Trump or previous administrations have done much to make family dealing with foreign businesses like this actually a crime.
From the article above: A wide range of China experts told PolitiFact that it’s not unusual for Chinese government and businesses interests to court prominent Americans or their family members.
“This is a standard operating procedure,” Naughton said. “Bring in an influential person, give him a small percentage of a firm as a ‘finders fee,’ and grow the business.”
It is a widespread belief of Chinese leaders “that a father always secretly helps his son,” said Zhiguo He, a finance professor at the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business. “Chinese business entities would like to give favors to the son in a proactive way, with the belief that if I am giving deals to the son, the father will remember it. Many lower level officials are doing it.”
Neil Bush, the younger brother of then-President George W. Bush, testified in a March 2003 divorce proceeding about a $2 million stock deal with Grace Semiconductor Manufacturing Corp., a firm backed by the son of former Chinese President Jiang Zemin.
HNA Group, a Chinese conglomerate, offered to buy a hedge fund owned by former White House official Anthony Scaramucci; retained the legal services of Gary Locke, the former U.S. ambassador to China, shortly before his confirmation; and provided financing to a private-equity firm backed by Jeb Bush, according to a 2019 account in the Intercept.
The Bank of China added Angela Chao, the sister of Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao and sister-in-law of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., to its board of directors, the Intercept reported.
President Trump and his family have faced questions of possible conflicts of interest as well, including the granting of Chinese trademarks to Trump’s daughter Ivanka, who owned a fashion line.
Both the Biden and Trump examples involved a child of a powerful U.S. official getting special treatment or business opportunities from the Chinese government .... Ivanka Trump’s trademark approval involved an expedited regulatory review, as opposed to an ongoing investment opportunity. On the other hand, unlike Biden, she was a White House official at the time, in addition to being the president’s daughter. And the president himself maintains extensive business interests around the world.

The man is a wily professional and also a paragon of virtue...why not trust him to decide the election?

Joe was allegedly getting half of the profits of these enterprises, thus avoiding taxes.
He knew, and not only approved of these dealings, he actively participated in leveraging his influence to make them happen.
Still trying to figure out where the Russian henchmen figure in this.
