Impeachment accomplished nothing, the executive orders for the most part simply reverse Trump's actions.

If you could get left wing nuts like 00 to speak honestly, which of course you can't, you would find that, far from being horrified by the Capitol mess, they were absolutely delighted by it. Giddy. For them, EVERYTHING is about scoring partisan political points, and they saw it as a heaven sent opportunity.

Statements, threats, by individuals involved. Actions consistent with those statements. That's evidence beyond speculation. Enough to sustain conspiracy charges. Those "patriots" and "good people" surely created a likelihood of physical harm. Had there been a death it would hardly be an innocent "accident" that absolved them of homicide charges. |

If you could get left wing nuts like 00 to speak honestly, which of course you can't, you would find that, far from being horrified by the Capitol mess, they were absolutely delighted by it. Nobody is delighted by these developments except perhaps the far right organizations which are publicly praising them.
If I am a left wing nut to believe far right extremists took advantage of the opportunity a President gave them who cynically contested an election he lost and invited them to Washington to assault Congress. I join Mitch McConnel, and every other President and Presidential candidate for the GOP who has weighed in on that as well as others on the right and left who believe that.
I believe that President was at the least incompetent to not make better plans and/or react to disperse the rabble that was almost immediately a clear and present danger after his rant about election fraud.
As I have consistently said, the real harm here is not just the right wing extremists and the right wing sheep that followed them (at the Presidents urging) but that the POTUS was so incompetent, malicious or deluded that he would have allowed this to happen.
