The impact is that it demonstrates how people on the left are so dead set on proving their wokeness to each other, that even the most obviously, blatantly ludicrous things have to be countenanced as part of the crusade/charade. For example a huge 50-year old man playing college basketball with girls 2/3rds his size.

You know, there are some thousands of men in the US who currently have zero hope of making a living at basketball, but who would be league MVP level players in the WNBA. There are, of course, still more thousands who could be solid starters. All it would take is one such guy...someone who likes attention and drama...to push this nonsense to its logical conclusion. How much fun would that be to watch? Who deserves this face full of wokeness more than the WNBA? Well....the US soccer Womens national team, I guess....but still.

You know, there are some thousands of men in the US who currently have zero hope of making a living at basketball, but who would be league MVP level players in the WNBA. There are, of course, still more thousands who could be solid starters. All it would take is one such guy...someone who likes attention and drama...to push this nonsense to its logical conclusion. How much fun would that be to watch? Who deserves this face full of wokeness more than the WNBA? Well....the US soccer Womens national team, I guess....but still. I identify as a 6'-8" NBA power forward. The fact that the NBA does not acknowledge how I see myself, and how I feel, is making me consider suing the league so I can be compensated accordingly. Physically, I may be 5'-10", but that's not who I am inside. |
