Considering this is Whitford's ninth season I would say this is a fireable result. Of course it won't happen because Mearns doesn't want to hurt anyone's feelings.

I have a feeling we could have played 11 of our football players tonight instead and the score would have been about the same or better for us.

We’re too young and inexperienced. We just need more time. Meanwhile Xavier’s coach, while happy with how they played, said they were too careless with the ball and need to get better. Even after winning by that margin he’d still coaching and demanding excellence. |

Yeah she'll just have one of our eight Assistant Athletic Directors give her a full breakdown in the morning. We have a "funding problem" but we can hire a hundred administrators to do nothing but schedule meetings with each other all day. |

Unless we have an incredible turnaround this season I’d make a change! I do believe we have a couple of good Freshman but I see no one to Coach them up! Given what we will pay I’d go after a Coach from a very strong JC!! We'd lose to alot of JC teams. |
