I've noticed that the home schedule does not indicate any games being shown on ESPN3 or ESPN+. What gives? Surely the departure of Joel Goodett hasn't caused a staff issue. We have Sportslink students who could gain experience from calling baseball games.

Joel hasn't left yet, so I don't thinks that's the problem, especially since Joel is a baseball guy. I know there's a limit on how many games they can do over the school year, so they might be getting close.

What up with Baseball? Weekend schedule moving all over the place. One game in Muncie tomorrow and other two in Valpo on Monday?
Never mind. Snowing at Western today and high of 27 tomorrow. Yeah, it will be much better at Valpo 🥶

Yeah, it will be much better at Valpo 🥶 While the Ball State baseball schedule does not show telecasts for home games, I did go on ESPN+ and found all of next weeks games vs. Toledo were scheduled to be telecast. Someone at the AD's office or baseball operations is not on the job with updates to the web site.

Yeah, it will be much better at Valpo 🥶 Looks like Emory Bauer Field at Valpo has gone partial field turf (infield only ala old Comiskey Park). Good move for games in The Region.

Looks like all four WMU games have been moved to Muncie. I can't figure out the posted schedule. It shows two DHs on Monday. I'm thinking they mean DH on Monday and a DH on Tuesday. Also, BSU shows the WMU games as being televised. We'll see.

The 4/15 game against Akron, and the 5/13 - 5/15 series against Ohio are the only games on ESPN+.
The opening round MIVA Tournament game on 4/16 will be broadcast instead of the rest of the Akron series.

Like I said, ESPN+ is showing BSU Toledo games being televised next weekend, and the WMU games have moved to Muncie today and someone listed a link to watch those games streaming.

Watching today's 2nd game. I guess it's "be careful what you ask for." The student play-by-play guy is really rough....REALLY ROUGH!

You know a career in insurance sales is really not a bad way to go. When the cadence of your voice fits perfectly with saying "annuities" and "fiduciary responsibility," you can't go wrong.
