I predict we get thumped pretty good Inevitable. If it happens it won't in any way diminish what MVB accomplished this season as far as I'm concerned. Well, since they made the trip, why not win it all. It’s all about match ups and focus on what you do best. Toss in a little luck and you never know. |

Consistently good in most every set played. That is what BSU has done. Maybe we will get overpowered but I doubt it. Ball State knows how to keep the pressure on teams that eventually at some point wilt. Keep our service errors down and we will be fine. Either way I am very proud of this team for their courage, determination, and respecting the integrity of the sport by playing it the right way. Oh the National Coach of the Year also had something to do with all of this

BSU matches up well with Hawaii and Long Beach and UCLA will be a dandy too. Both matches being deemed toss ups by former USA Olympic coach Mick Haley!

I had asked earlier if there was a watch party planned and I've never seen anything. Kinda disappointing especially with 2 weeks to plan it.
Even if it's not worth opening up Worthen you'd think there's a lounge on campus where they could have rolled in a few big screens to stream it to. Offered up some match-day food and drinks. Even if only for the students who've supported the program.

Ball State University will be crowned the new National Champion of Mens Volleyball in Pauley Pavilion this weekend. Senior leadership will lead the Cardinals to the victory in the back yard of the challengers.

MIVA has 4 national champions in the last decade. We were the undisputed champion of the MIVA conference.
We are the #2 seed. Cardinals are equal to any of these teams.
