UT fans are generally friendly to the fans of the early season sacrificial lambs but in case Rockytop wasn't annoying enough already they added the Ric Flair "Woo!" to it. Not sure how you lasted as long as you did.

CMU has put up 36 points and 500 yards of offense vs 12th rated Okey State. We've scored 7 and given up 52 and 600 yards of offense vs. Unranked UT. My Spidey sense says that's not good.

Cmu will roll through the MAC. massive and beastly oline and studs all over the field on offense. No clue about their d. But overall they a big and tough. |

They took the foot off the pedal pretty early. It was a blowout. Take that with a grain of salt. CMU will be good UT will be ranked next week. They are currently ranked 26th |

We gave up 0 sacks this game? That’s actually impressive! Paddock throws the ball quickly, which will generally be a good thing for us once conference play gets in full swing. Looking at the schedule today was 1 of 4 games I don’t think we have a shot of winning (CMU, Toledo, Miami). Every other game is a toss up in my opinion. Minus the bad 3rd down penalties I thought we looked like a 6-6, 7-5 type of team which is realistic to hope for.
Now if next week we have bonehead penalties again it’s going to be tough. We should all get ready for our defense to give up 30+ points a game this year, I just hope the run game gets going a little better against WMU, which I think it will (Steele might not have rushed for many yards, but he fell forward on every tackle tonight. He’s still going to be good.) Their defense hasn’t been great either as of late so hopefully we have an exciting offensive game to look forward to in the home opener.

We might be favored in 2-3 games this season. I did not see enough good to move my win total above my predicted 5 if anything It might have dropped to 4
