I think another plus is we now have depth and competition at every position Except maybe at Dline and lb seems a bit thin. That is a really good thing. Our back ups are no longer a detriment so we can keep fresh guys out there when needed

Really need to see the linebackers step up and make plays. The dline needs to at least occupy the Wmu oline to keep our linebackers clean. Really really need our Rush ends to get pressure.

This is the exact response I was hoping to get because I think it’s 100% spot on. Take it further at what point does being reliable become a detriment. Is it ok to and sometimes worth more to have a guy out there who might mess up a route or throw a dumb pass/make a wrong read but then do something amazing or make something out of nothing? Yeah but didn’t we have that with Plitt and although he lead us to a MACC and Bowl win it didn’t end so well so maybe Nue is trying to make up for that. |

We dogged plitt a bit but he proved to be a borderline NFL quarterback In all honesty I dont understand that at all. I was rooting for him but I’m surprised he got as far as he did. He could throw some excellent passes but he was also good for one or two tear-your-hair-out decision making mistakes per game. |
