Just do order of finish all teams and we will compare. Remember I don’t believe east and west is a thing anymore

Akron Toledo EMU Ohio Kent Buffalo Miami BSU BG CMU WMU NIU
I probably have us too low and EMU too high. I feel that teams 1-8 could finish in any random order and I would be able to comprehend those standings. Things are wide open this year.

- Toledo - Akron - Kent State - Buffalo - EMU - Ohio - BSU - CMU - Miami - BGSU - WMU - NIU
There should be a lot of parity in the league this year, excluding some of the struggling programs. EMU should be among the best in the conference in terms of talent, but I’ve given them a provisional 5th place ranking due to Bates’s drama.

The KID’S annual optimism is surprisingly tempered in his placement of the Cardinals.
Me, being realistically pessimistic based on historical data, project the influence of Michael Lewis to be beyond even the hopes and dreams of The BSU Kid.
Top 4 MAC at the worst. Book your disgusting rooms in Cleveland now before the seasons end rush!

I’m with you Costal Card! I put us 3rd but would not be shocked if Lewis won it in his first season!!

Given where we were with Whitford and what we bring back I’d say if Lewis is an improvement we should definitely be in the running for a championship.

I think we could turn out to be pretty damned good. We’ll for sure be a tougher team.

I am not sure how strong the top MAC teams will be. It's very hard to predict, that I agree with everyone above.
And I am not as convinced about the proven talent as some here, although Sparks, Coleman and Sellers are a good core, and the newcomers look enough to replace what we lost. We have some athletes, but I want to see the shooting and how we handle bigger teams. Sparks was not defensive stopper.
OTOH, I like the energy and pace of play seen at the practice, and that intangible toughness can make a big difference.

I think we’ll guard people so it comes down to shotmaking, as always. I think we’ll run stuff to get better shots than the “just jack it up offense” we’re used to seeing so hopefully that’ll lead to more consistent scoring.

I also think we'll make better in game "adjustments" than what we witnessed in the previous administration.

If guys are dedicated to the system and disciplined, you can achieve a lot (assuming the coaching is good).
