Did not expect this one. Reminds me of 2 years ago.
Need a win on the road...no sweat.
Need opponents to cough up the ball or overthrow wide open receiver...in the bag.

Hot damn, paddock got it done after a terrible start. Big win. (Not sure why we go away from Steele when he’s cooking” but the passing game finally made winning plays tonight. Big difference! Ut and Ou look pretty much not options for wins most likely bowl Eligibility gonna come down to the Miami game. I was just thinking the same thing about bowl eligibility coming down to Miami

This thread is a Freezing Cold Takes legend. Let’s face it, our team is a maddening rollercoaster of bad/good play/ coaching/penalties.

If I owned a magic 8 ball I’d ask it where are we going to see Steele transfer too. You really think so? I don’t get that vibe at all. I felt the same way as you about Yo’Heinz after last season though so we’ll see. I feel like Yo'Heinz sometimes plays with T-Rex arms. That ball better be square in the numbers, or he's not gonna make the catch. The portal would only take him to lower level ball.

I think BSU steals one at home vs. OU in two weeks.

We should probably all chip in and do something nice for their QB. He really did us a solid by taking that knee on 4th down.

Election night in Toledo has worked for us in the past. I wouldn't count us out next week. Its Maction after all. Expect the unexpected.

Would surely love to win at Oxford, but both games are winnable. I give us 50-50 chance to get 6 wins now with this one on the books.

His effort on anything not right on him has been lacking the last couple years unless it’s a chance at a TD.

So today was my first day being able to watch a game as opposed to listen on the radio. Curious about my observations in regards to those who have regularly been able to go/view BSU games this year:
- I thought Paddock actually played pretty well. Yes, absolutely threw some poor passes particularly on deeper outside routes or curls. However, played "smart" football - that INT was just a wild one in my book. He also did a great job with knowing where pressure was in the pocket. - Steele is wayyyy faster/quicker than I anticipated. Extremely impressed but certainly seems to be the vibe in the room. - The defense seems to have embraced the "bend but don't break mentality" which in my eyes can be quite successful in the MAC. - I was frustrated by what I viewed as poor time management, particularly late in the game. I liked sticking with the run late but why snap the ball with 15 seconds left on the play clock?
Overall a great game to watch and thrilled the Cardinals pulled out a victory. Also, neat to sit next to a random guy at my friendly neighborhood tavern whose brother plays for BSU.
