That’s what we’re all getting at with accountability. If kids aren’t fitting into your system you can argue that sometimes a kid isn’t who you thought he was. But this is happening repeatedly so you’re recruiting the wrong players, have poor evaluation or poor development…and that BS told to Cardfan is just that…absolute BS…look no further than Ohio who did a pretty good damn job with their back-up QB who had a completely different skill set than Rourke and they beat us. They did pretty good with their ‘square peg.’ That’s just an excuse and a deflection. How does all of this NOT impact recruiting…some of these kids getting buried come out of conferences that the staff recruits…SMH.

First off your right about the Virginia kids god help their family’s. You mentioned Kelly. Anyone close to the team will tell you Kelly is one of if not the best athlete on the team. I’ve been told directly to my face that you can’t insert a square peg into a round hole when I did ask about Kelly. Meaning he is different and his skill set does not fit our offense. So you make a package of 15-20 plays for Kelly and give him some practice reps then you add a play week or two plays. Does not seem to be worth the time and effort involved though Which again begs the question— why in the world did we recruit Kelly if we had no intention of using his skill sets? Amen !!!!!
