Toledo beats a lot of teams playing as well as they did.
They aren't great on D but really can score.
I do not look forward to an easier game at home or in the tourney. These 2 are going to fight it out every time they play. Very even unless Sparks gets it going better.

First time I've been able to see the whole game. Impressive performance by the red and white tonight. Great guard play and free throw shooting in the closing minutes tonight. Should be a good ride back to Muncie.
Go Cards!

IMO Kowalczek is a great recruiter, but a mediocre coach. They've never been very good defensively.

I had to delay at halftime so I just finished. Wow, that was impressive. I could really get used to this winning thing. I totally expected the Toledo comeback, but Lewis appears to have instilled a toughness for us not to fold. Love it!

I was thinking during game how I was glad Cochran played for Toledo and not Ball State Lewis would have a challenge. He is a big body, we could use that off the bench. Not sure he could fit the style of play where we move the ball around.

Lewis needs to be rewarded with some butts in the seats. He and this team are showing that they deserve it

Wow. We outrebounded Toledo 41-21 and 12-3 on offensive boards. That's a winning recipe.

Well, well well. How about that? What a good win that is for the conference standings. Really good. I might even have to figure out how to actually watch games if this keeps up.
* Jihad - I have disdained him and posted several negative comments to the effect that he is generally worthless. But since Evansville 12/10, he has had a nice series of games, filling a crucial role that we desperately need. It could be that I was wrrrrrr. I was wrrrrroooo. Was wrrrrrrrrr. Could be that I wasn't as right as I usually am.
* Coleman picked a good time to have an uncharacteristically efficient offensive game. Strangely, in a game where he appeared to be well focused AND a game where our overall rebounding was excellent, he had zero rebounds. In the context of a really good win, this can just be regarded as an interesting oddity.
* Jacobs = Badass
* Sellers - It says something about the expectations I now have for him that when I first saw his 15/10 stat line, it seemed almost disappointing.

Great win on the road. Toledo is a tough place to win. Good coaching. I am finally watching a BSU game...and enjoying it. Love the talent on this team including Boogie.

And more excellent coverage by the Muncie Starpre…….never mind.
And there will not be any til 1/9 at the earliest. The local paper couldn’t scrounge up someone, anyone to even just copy bsu press releases till the beat writer gets back from vacation?
