What I like is that we are having these discussions about not quite being the best but if we keep improving will be close. Did anyone think we would be having these thoughts preseason?

Absolutely not. With the roster essentially the same as last year I thought we would be middle of the pack with most of our wins coming against the directional schools. |

Let's see how the rest of the year pans out, but I have been pleasantly surprised by the conference season so far. The real test will be Kent. If we manage to beat them, I will have very high hopes for the rest of the year.

The Cards have 2 shots at Kent a win home or away would be awesome. Don’t want to go too far but a split would be great and a sweep would be gold!

Yes "split all day". I don't know if we can sustain 40 min of tough defense. Need quality help from bench on defense.

I'd prefer they sweep us regular season and we beat them in the MAC championship as the 2 seed. |

I'll be satisfied with one win against Kent, at long as it's the last game we play against them this year.
