Good win when not playing at the top of their game. It feels good to be undefeated at Worthen in mid January. Got to keep up the winning streak at home.

Gritty but ugly win. Sparks has to be smarter on defense moving forward. A couple of his fouls were him just not thinking and being too aggressive on offensive rebounds or driving to the basket out of control.
I thought we might go zone on Norman in the second half but we didn’t. All his shots were off the dribble, not catching and shooting. Thought a matchup zone might prohibit him from getting high ball screens and shooting. He also drove right past us multiple times for layups so we really had no answer.

People (students mostly) were yelling and chanting coming out of the building tonight. It's been YEARS since I've heard that.
I hate to keep throwing dirt on our old coach(es) but I've already been at 3 games this season we'd have folded and lost in previous seasons.

Big thing on that last possession was Sellers was all over Norman, they had a hard time getting him the ball, and then he gave it up, which shocked me. Thought once he had it the last shot would be his. By the time he gave it up there wasn't much time left. I'm not sure what happened after that but someone missed a shot and we got the board. |

Colman was the reason we won tonight and we were able to overcome some poor officiating in the later part of the game.
Good teams pull out tough tight games. Ugly win is just that ugly but a win.
