As much as I dislike Boogies 🌭 antics, that pass for the slam was pure money. He also had two behind the back passes and another couple no looks that were unreal. He was feeling it last night. On a truly hilarious note, on the postgame he talked about how much he’s learned to play under control as the season has progressed and not try for the crazy home run pass. 😂

That looked like he had gotten himself into a position where he was going to be forced out of bounds trying to go baseline but found Pearson cutting to the basket. I don't know it if was great vision or whether he was just throwing it back in hoping someone would get it. Looked to me like Pearson had to make a pretty tough catch to convert.

One angle made it look like a good cut to only open space by Pearson but something like we've done before. Good play at that point. Coleman does have good vision, learned this year more to be predictable for the cutter. Not to the D.

I commented during his freshman of the year year was that he has the opportunity to be as good a player as ever played at Ball State. His past three games or so have shown his true ability. His stat line against Western was fantastic. If he plays like this the rest of the year and in his last year, we should see his jersey hanging from the Ball State rafter in the future.

Tap the brakes. Ray and Bonzi were all time leading scorers. Coleman is not even in the same area code and is not likely to be before he’s done.

Yeah, Boogie is not going to finish with a jersey hanging type of career. And he left for a year. He's going to finish with a good career, but jersey in the rafters level? No.

Coleman is a very good player, but he's not at that level.

That's very good, memorable, just not epic. Hit a game winner in the MAC championship or in an NCAA game? Talk then.

Paywall. Good Lewis quotes from press conference. Mostly what we have said here with emphasis on how things sinking in recently.
"His focus on what it takes to be a good player and his focus on what it takes to win has gone to another level here in the last few weeks."
Best observation is that when he is handling the ball and getting into the lane with his dribble it is much more not just to get shots.
