There is a game tonight and the Cards are favored by 10.5 points. We have a small winning advantage over the Broncos, let’s hope the streak continues. Really like to see the Cards put together a strong full forty minutes - if they would, I’d say we win by more than 20 points!

It's pretty sad but we've been so bad for so long that I'm surprised when I see us having a series advantage over anyone anymore.

bad feeling about this one. WMU can put points up and we're "struggling" a bit right now with consistency. What WMU did to BG in the second half the other day was concerning. 69 points in a half! We'll need to defend really hard. They have a 6'7 dude getting 10 boards a game. Got 20 against Toledo, so I feel like their strengths are our Achilles heel, especially in terms of guards who can create off the dribble and interior play. Need Sparks to have a really good night and hope our guards stay out of foul trouble.

I remember early in one Whitford season after he was already a known commodity we beat the hell out of EMU and put up 100+ on them. Needless to say we did not repeat that performance the rest of the season and I think we actually lost to EMU the other game that season. Any team can get super hot against a bad defense and light up a scoreboard, if Western could do that consistently they wouldn't be where they are now. |

Wish I could make it back up to Muncie for tonight’s game but the 3 hour drive is too much. Really enjoyed attending last Saturday’s game.
A couple of things that caught my eye watching the team live is we have some real athletic guys. Knew Sellers could jump out of the gym, but was also impressed with Jacobs, Pearson & Sparks. All of these guys got up for several rebounds. Sparks can explode up when he wants to. Needs that explosion on offensive stick-backs as he got a couple blocked.
Enjoyed watching Coach Lewis. Extremely tough at times, but is making players accountable for their play.
Just hoping they are not looking past WMU to Friday’s game with Kent. As was previously said, looking for 40 minutes of solid play tonight!

bottom line is this is a team we should beat and at some point we have to forget we typically lose this game and just go out and take care of budiness

I thought since we got the change the “negative” people were begging for and so far it has worked out well I havent seen much negativity. |
