He played 13 minutes in one of the pre-conference games (can't remember offhand which one) and scored 4 points, so if you look at the season stats he actually has a 4 ppg average, double the 1.9 ppg Bumbalough has. I think the rules are as long as he doesn't play in 5 games, he can red-shirt without using a year of eligibility for this season. |

So Bell and Adams are both redshirts? I would think so. Adams supposedly has a bad back. If that's the case, he would qualify for a medical red-shirt. I think he's been in street clothes sitting at the far end of the bench every game so far. |

I think he's been in street clothes sitting at the far end of the bench every game so far. Neither had much chance to contribute as both are guards. Game PT lost not the problem. The sitting out injured is a shame. He had potential, needed development. At least both should get a leg up on academics, should gain a little something from weight room and learn from coaches. Needed hard practice time. |

Fantastic performance by our Cardinals at NIU. The team made the long trip to DeKalb and came out with a vengeance from the opening tip. Maybe the most complete game we have played all season from start to finish. Great job Cardinals!

Adams has never dressed and has been rumored he was always going red shirt from the start. Have back issues been even mentioned?
