Just before EMU hit that last 3 pointer, it sure looked like they were guilty of an over and back. Anyone else see that? Not that it made any difference.

Bates is the real deal. Some other EMU players got hot tonight and that made the difference. Offensively he is special but he is poor in most other aspects of the game. Not sure that's gonna cut it in the NBA. |

Bates had to take 27 shots to score 35. Not that impressed the Eagles have only won 6 games. Takes a team to win not just one star!

Their last 3 should not have counted. What a great team win!! Lewis elected to limit our bench’s minutes tonight. It worked, but we’ll have 5 tired starters tomorrow. They logged a ton of minutes! Crowd looked pretty good on TV. Did we hit 6,000? This is fun stuff!! Go Cards! We Fly!! |

As big as the crowd was I honestly thought it wasn't as loud and into the game as some of our smaller crowds. They were at the end but other than that, not really.

I would not want to meet this team in the MAC Tournment, they could be dangerous! Bates is the real deal and there are a few other good players that can help make it a tough win.

Anyone else see Lewis get after one of his assistants late in the game for seemingly talking over him while he was trying to instruct the players on the court?

Jacobs’ steal/score off Bates was HUGE That and Sellers' tomahawk dunk were the two key moments IMO. I think Jacobs' strip saved the game. We were down three at the time with just over a minute to go and reeling. |

I don’t know if Lewis shortened his leash at the end but Coleman just about killed us those last two minutes of regulation.
1:19 left and we had the lead and the ball and he launched a three at 1:10
