I have friends that are “Iron Dukes”.
The first time I sat behind coach K’s bench I was shocked at the number of F bombs…I mean absolutely shocked. And believe me, they were not under his breath. After several games I got used to it. You could tell the crowd was used to it. Quite frankly I thought that was pathetic.
That being said, as someone who expresses that bomb more than I should, he is in a public setting. Show control and class. He is in a leadership role and a mentor. It is not necessary.
I think he’s smart enough to learn from his mistake and clean it up. If he can’t control that simple task in the future he’ll be choking players in practice.
