The Cards can not have another no show game, especially this time of the year. There was simply little fight from the Cards. Will be interesting to hear comments from Coach.

Jacobs also a no show. Speaking of no, no bench has bit us in the ass. If we shoot like this against Kent we will get rolled on Tuesday. Unreal that we could lose to a 6 win team and get dominated by Lobsinger. We looked like a Whitford team today.

I almost rank this collapse as bad as Bonzi's team at Central once upon a time. Totally outplayed today. Too much standing around, and too many bonehead turnovers. And indeed, we looked like a Whitford team. So disappointing.

Coach Lewis took the blame. Said he had not had the guys work as hard in practice, trying to keep them fresh.

This was no fun...A good game by WMU.
Western hit the offensive boards, knocked the ball loose which is something they do, got to loose balls however generated, defended well. Once they had that stretch in the first half to get the lead and hold it, that's their game.
We could not get shots we wanted, did not hit the shots we got.
Lewis will give WMU credit which is deserved. It was a trap game. We needed to be hyper ready.
All our pregame comments said we needed to play with a lead, they were not ready, we failed badly on that crucial count...

Worst performance of the entire season losing to Western with 2 conference wins and 6 total wins!
Sometimes it’s hard for them to handle success.
Surely can’t play any worse. Shake it off and get Kent.

Worse case scenario now in play. Both Ohio and NIU pass us in the standings. BSU as the #6 seed plays the #3 seed Akron and gets bounced out of the MAC Tournament in the first round.

It looks that Coach fell into the trap if we hadn't practiced the same way. Remember he is still learning too. The season isn't over and we still have a lot to play for. Just hope we can keep this game only as a bad memory.

It happens. Kent looked bad against Northern and Akron by Ohio. I agree we could play well and still not win another game

Well it was a good day until I got onto the WMU campus. Flat tire crossing the train track by the softball field. My car is one that doesn't have a spare and the tire was not repairable by the stupid little kit that was included with the car. Car had to be towed to a tire place. A nice campus cop helped us get a tow. Then we play like crap and lose to a team we should never lose to. Good news though, we made it to pick up the car 10 minutes before the shop closed. Now 3 hours driving home. Shit.
So much for my first basketball road trip since COVID.

I was really hoping to lock up 20 wins today. That’s a bench mark we need to be hitting. A standard we used to hit pretty regularly.
