I feel like there's a dark cloud hanging over this team that no amount of recruiting or play calling or scheming can overcome, and it comes down to QB choices and it predates this year's roster. Damn right. |

Well Hatcher being on the leadership council without him actually taking a live snap in a game is a joke. This whole deal really has a bad odor to it. Maybe there are others on this council that also have not played I don't know. I f the team selected the council then maybe ok. That’s where I am. If the players voted then fine. If Neu picked Hatcher over Kelly….. As I understand it, the players voted. And there is another player who has on the council who has also not taken a snap. Not sure if that's consolation because the smoke signals are still not good IMHO. You can foresee one of two things: 1) that Kelly might not get a long leash if he is the starter or 2) a two QB system. Long way to go between now and start of the season. |

Heard from a lil birdy Hatchers dad has been flying his jet up weekly to Muncie from Little Rock… I’m sure he’s doing everything he can to get his kid snaps… You know……Neu has shown that he is not a confrontational guy. If the above (and all the other TXST insinuations) are remotely accurate, Coach Neu is in for what could be a LONG season with Papa QB and his own other players. This might be the ultimate Hail Mary from a very hot 🔥 seat. |

I think we are in for another L-O-N-G season! I’m tired of this non-progress. I’ll still go. I’ll still cheer on the Cardinal & White. I’ll probably still get that sick feeling in the gut as we go through another losing season. I can only hope i am wrong!

Now if it proves to be true then shame on everyone involved. Bottom line is if Hatcher plays well no one will care and it sounds like some will have a good timevon his dads cash.. Now if it becomes another paddock situation Im going to be pissed off |

If Hatcher is the guy, and wins, then we got what we wanted. If he’s the guy and can’t play his way out of a paper bag and Neu refuses to get Kelly a real shot then it’s not going to end well. If Kelly ends up being the starter then it was much ado about nothing.
