I was still holding out hope that we’d get a much deserved at large bid. Watching that slip away was excruciating.

reading other boards and twitter the sheer amount of people who really believed and thought tge MAC was getting two bids is amazing. There are just so many people who dint get it

IU is not a very disciplined team. The guard throws up two shots in a row no passes then panic and hero ball take over. missed 3 pointers galore. However at times they are world beaters but also hot and cold. Kent will be able to play wih them but Trayce Davis will continue to be a handful. No one has stopped Carry this year and IU won't either. Still I think IU will win in either a closeone or blow it wide open. Like many of you I will be rooting for the "Mob"from East Ohio.

IU is going to get throttled, would not surprise me if Kent wins by 15-18 points.

IU can't stop small ball outside shooters. Kent has to be hot because Kent's defense will have great trouble inside. IU's Freshman guard can kill you so they have to really focus on him and take him out of the game.
IU should be favored.

Keep the ball out of Davis's hands with very serious ball pressure and rebound like your basketball life depended on it which it does.

Not sure what to do with Davis Nobody has really stopped him, not without a cost, just collapsed and made IU hit outside. The other IU big would be the best MAC big man, so that will be an issue if they can't really pressure the ball and turn IU over Hitting the boards a key for Kent. Thomas a key for them. |

I respect Kent for the season they’ve had and they are the best team in the MAC, but there is no way I will root for them. Senderoff is a jackass and they are the thuggiest most unlikeable group in recent memory. I hope they lose by a million.

Woody and this IU team is not hard to like. It's the IU fans easy to hate.
With Kent it's easy to hate coach and team, fans beneath notice, not worth hating...

I invited all my friends to a selection party and had BSU decorations everywhere, all the chairs lined up in front of the TV, champagne on ice. Luckily I dont have any friends, otherwise it would have been very awkward when our name wasnt called. |
