Man if he ends up at Dayton or Loyola I’ll be disappointed in him. I do not consider the A10 “at the highest level of college basketball”! Then again NIL talks and players walk!

He did I live event here in Muncie he was bot asked about transfers. The lone starpress employee is on vacation |

After seeing that list, bet he ends up at Butler. I see him as a homebody and wants to be close to home where his family can watch.

They certainly have a need with their graduations. Just a matter of if they think he can play at that level. |

I just can't see any of those schools really wanting him except Butler, Loyola, and maybe Dayton Loyola Chicago was 10-21 this season finishing last in a 15-team conference, they were ranked #254 in KenPom and is losing a 4-yr starter to the transfer portal and another 4-yr starter to graduation. 7 teams in the A-10 were ranked worse than BSU. Surely Sparks wouldn't see this as a step up worth the upheaval of leaving friends and family!?! Butler similarly, only 48 spots better than BSU this year and losing 7 of their top 8 players - will be challenged to be below 150 next year though they do play much better competition in conference. |

Lewis was on with JMV on 107.5 FM today. Talked some about the portal and Sparks in particular. Regarding Sparks, spoke in a supportive tone of helping him find the best place to continue his career. Didn't hear him mention any of the others in the portal. Mentioned there where like 600 players in the portal now.

If he is the good student that is claimed, I hope he goes to Notre Dame. That diploma would open up a lot of doors---even if it meant riding the bench (which he would IMO).
