He would if you put any trust in the bullshit depth chart that still has coll abd hunt starting lol. Barfield had carries at Kentucky do Id say yes and we should see Horton if not maybe a bit of spegal who had 1 carry against kentucky

Really gotta get Cooper going though. We didn’t seem to use him well against Ky.

I think maybe we should start doing our contracts for these games on a sliding scale, with extra bonuses built in.
For instance:
We travel to Georgia and get beat, they pay us $1.6M
We travel to Georgia and win, they only pay us $1.1M
We lose a starter to injury during the game, they pay us an additional $50,000 for each game missed.
We lose a back-up for injury during the game, they pay us an additional $25,000 for each game missed.
I mean I think the sports jury certainly should reward us for pain and suffering.

I had this idea the other day. Ga has to start thier walk ons abd scout team for each set amount points they get to add a 3rd String 2nd string etc. Would make it much more interesting

Pain and suffering we signed up to get, and we deserve the money, maybe in fact more. But maybe we deserve the pain and suffering, too?

With the Big Boy conferences expanding to 16/17 teams and an expanded playoff system, will there be a need to schedule the BSU’s in the future?

With the Big Boy conferences expanding to 16/17 teams and an expanded playoff system, will there be a need to schedule the BSU’s in the future? Good question. Real Big Boys at the top of the conference should have less need. Sure everybody likes home wins early and there is the issue of easier bowl eligibility for the more lowly middle members. But conference TV rights might be worth more with early season "big games." Those middle tier and the bottom dwellers might profit more from the TV money than what they miss out on in non playoff bowl games. Will anybody really want a warmup game? Maybe one?

Big Boys want to fill dance card on season ticket package. Middling P5(4) teams want wins for a bowl. We just want the money and ability to tell recruits they get to play on a big stage. An occasional win is interesting enough and preserves the fiction everybody is FBS.

I like playing an Indiana, Purdue, or even an Iowa or Rutgers. Since Beth is at Iowa it might be worth a shot...
A Georgia is simply out of our league....in some years we can play with or even win against teams like I mentioned

In the new world order they may be too busy being the warmup games for real Big Boys. In any case we'll have fewer money games it appears.

We have played elite comp before. I think Oklahoma was number 1 when we played them. Im not sur we have or will ever again play a back to back number 1 ranked national champion in the prime of their dynasty again. This is literslly as tough as it can get

The year-over-year top 5 program are out of most university’s leagues. I’d love to see Georgia play Purdue or IU, in Athens. That would be fun times…

However, BSU against Purdue, IU, Northwestern, Rutgers, etc…, I think we’d be close / fair well.
