Seems like this staff makes up their minds at the beginning of August who’s gonna play and what the play call sheet is going to look like and that’s that. No deviation regardless of any contrary evidence that may occur. So what if a Spiegal could regularly get us necessary short yardage. So what if a Kelly can actually move this offense with his feet and maybe even complete a pass or two. So what if we got a proven running back transfer. So what if the passing game needs a serious overhaul in every way possible. So what if the blocking scheme just isn’t working. So what if the defense is disappointing and the expected punch from the d line hasn’t surfaced, the secondary is a train wreck and overall the d just sits back on its heels rather than take the game to the opponent. We ain’t budging.
So what.

Yeah, IU has the same issue, resulting in the need to get rid of the OC during the bye week.
I was just trying to figure out what the deal was with Spegal because he appears to have a good attitude, be a hard worker, and be a physical beast. It doesn’t seem like BSU is going to have an identity as a passing offense, so why not have a running attack with a QB that can hurt you by scrambling, plus a good RB, teamed up with a bruising FB disguised as a RB that can make the defensive secondary dread every time he gets through the D-line?
Anyway, hope y’all figure it out!

I agree Cardfan they only play different players when someone gets injured. Spegal should get a shot in a meaningful part of the game. This team ought to be playing everyone on the roster now. Kelly should have started & gotten to play an entire game before but give him that chance. Hatcher's time is over we are going no where play QBs who can play next year now.

Has the post game presser been posted yet? Didn’t see it on the BSU Athletics site.
I’m looking forward to the next couple of tailgates but not the games. I think Toledo will truck us and we may not win another game. We are looking as bad as we did in Mikes first two years.
Here’s a fun fact. We are averaging less than 11 points per game in our five losses. 6 total TDs in those five contests. That’s is epic lousy. Yes, the defense is not getting it done but they are also on the field way too much because our offense is so anemic.

Our program has gotten so soft they’ve muted the comments on Twitter. No backbone, no accountability…just fucking soft. I'm just wondering if everyone else is actually getting better or if we're getting that much worse. Saw it in Basketball over the years. |

I'm just wondering if everyone else is actually getting better or if we're getting that much worse. Saw it in Basketball over the years. I don't see a good parallel to BB. We were never a long term power in FB like in BB, never built a Program expected to be one. |
