Will be surprised if this 5 star guy makes it through the season. Maybe would have acted better if he had gone to McDonalds. A petulant spoiled brat! The song " I did it my way" really does not go well in a team sport. We have seen enough of "My Way" with Coleman and the all world player (in his mind) Cochran.

Dakich is going off on twitter. He is saying that Woodson is passing on bullshit information to Jeff Rabjohns, to smear the Bloomington police. Says this is typical BS by Woodson who used the same tactic on Dane Fife when he fired him. He said this is the old IU playbook when crap gets heavy in the basketball program. He mentioned that Knight would run to Bob Hammel to slander those who had the guts to go after the program. Dakich also said there is a reason that Duke decided not to give this kid a scholarship. More drama in Bloomington.

Let's face it, for the late night Taco Bell people to call the police on you, you probably weren't acting properly.
Just based upon the article, I would say the Bloomington police demonstrated significant restraint.

There is no doubt Hammel and Knight were close but given all the crap RMK stirred up, you could not write about IU basketball without dealing with that. He often showed the private side of the crazy coach, served as a the voice from inside the Program, but I don't remember anything about slander.
If anything Bob Knight preferred his BK theater in public over using media intelligently. It is of course true Knight vented to Hammel and others and that was reported. Hammel's a good guy.

I don't really keep up with Dakich. Has he turned on Knight too? He'll turn on anybody for attention. That calculated quest, which makes him a living says he values notoriety. I'm not even sure he thinks what he says is true, but his ego and arrogance does come without substantial accomplishment as a coach or broadcaster, so it's possible he talks himself into it.
