I thought we were going to Bowling Green not Bastogne. Being surrounded, shelled and starved by the Nazis would be preferable to watching Wednesday night Maction in 30 degree weather in Bowling Green Ohio. |

Cards have lost 6 straight roadies dating back to last season. Last away W was Nov. 1st one year ago against Kent State.
A fast start is almost a must for this team. We aren't built mentally or scheme-wise to play from behind. If we score early and get ahead, maybe we can break the streak but the reality is we have a raw QB starting his first road game at night on TV. I don't like that equation.
BG's QB played three years at Mizzou and 1 at IU. Their RB is first in the nation in broken tackles and has 29 rushes of 10+ yards. They've rushed for over 200 yards the past two games, both wins. Their defense leads the nation in takeaways! But, they are a Jekyl/Hyde team. Beat Goergia Tech on the road and played Michigan tough in the Big House losing 31-6. Created four turnovers including 3 picks against JJ McCarthy. On the flip side, they got drilled at home vs. OU 38-7 and on the road at Miami 27-0.
We are not Ohio or Miami. I think they'll run and run some more and our green QB is gonna get baited into some bad throws.

That was a complete lack effort by Cooper on that turnover. Had no urgency to go after that ball when he had to have known that there was at least of the possibility of it being ruled a backwards pass.
