18.5 FG percentage = pine time. 12.5% from 3pt and 63% FT. He got what he wanted otherwise he'd be in Europe getting paid less. Boogie gotta be Boogie. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but this is the one of the three I think we are better without. 💯

Nebraska is currently #60. That's a little below middle-of-the-pack Big10. That would have seemed to me to be a level Coleman could play at. It doesn't seem to me that his decision was obviously bad, but now why he's shooting 18% there I dont' know.

He could get pretty pouty when he wanted to. If he's not gotten what he thought he should or was promised in terms of playing time that could mess with his 'tude.

I don't think he gives a damn. Playing a grad year at Nebraska isn't about basketball. It's a cash grab.

Maybe like a lot of us here, I tend to just assume the kids who transfer to schools where the NIL is plentiful are just wanting some cash to flash around campus, be the true BMOC.
But the reality is I don't know these kids or their lives. Don't know if they're married, if they've got kids. If they come from affluence or poverty. If they've got parents or siblings they're trying to support.
Of course there was a time when sports was seen as the "way out" or the "way up" for some kids. I'm not sure how true that is anymore. Seems like every time I see some videos or photos from some LOI signing/college announcement the kids and parents are sitting in a house that makes my middle-class dwellings look like a hovel and the kids are wearing clothes I could never afford for my own children.
So ... who know the motives? Not me.

Just talked to some long time fans.. For years they have sat court side they are pretty knowledgeable and had some interesting tidbits..
First off if you have not noticed they surrounded the court with court side seats this year. In the past there had only been maybe 10-15 court side seats. At first those seats were just the cost of the seat later an additional charge of 450 dollars came along.. This year that charge for them increased to 1500 donation plus cost of seats.
They also told me that Sellers received 50k to go to UCF Boogie got 150K fron Neb and sparks got 250k from IND

When we got our seats in the lower section it required a specific level of CVC donation. I believe it was $1200. Not sure how many years ago that was and it was not for on court seats. It might have been when they moved the students to the end of the court. I never heard they discontinued that. If that requirement is still in place I would certainly think that floor seats would carry a larger donation requirement than lower level.

And Sparks is probably laughing at everyone on here questioning his decision.

I have what they call gold level seats and have had them for 10-15 years now. Ive never paid or been asked to donate anything just cost of seats. Now if you want to go to hospitality room its 1500 donation

Too, and I'm not definite on this, but I believe there are some amenities that go along with the court side seats. Not biggies, but I think there are a couple of Garage beers with each seat and popcorn and maybe another item or two. Like I said, not justified, but a few little freebies.

I feel like if those schools would have come to this forum and asked a few questions we could have helped them use their money more wisely. Not that IU or Nebraska probably care. Sounds like they've got more money than they know what do to with. I suspect with Sparks money we could probably fund NIL for our whole team.
