Might we assume that Coleman holds the all time world record for number of times transferring away from the same school at two? He would share this record with a number of other players (e.g. Luke Brown).
Or maybe has someone transferred away from the same school three times? That seems doubtful.

Good catch, ODU is scrappy. Hitting a little better outside.

They're 6 down with :30 to go. Pretty good showing against top 20 SEC team. Unfortunate they'll probably have to try 3 pt shots...

The paper doesn't seem to know about the game tonight against the Mighty Oaks.
Perhaps that is just as well since it is another NAIA opponent?
We could hope to see more PT for the freshmen, it would appear to be another practice game cluttering the season ticket.

Would rather have seen games against IUPUI, PFW, Valpo, etc. vers these NAIA schools. They prove nothing! Disappointing schedule.

Are we counting this as a game for our win/loss record or is this a 2nd exhibition? On Oakland City's website, they are calling this an exhibition for them. Agree, the only thing good about this "game" is our bench should get extended minutes. They need some clock to develop!

I doubt it counts for most rating services.
Not called an exhibition on the schedule.

As sad as it is, it appears this one and Goshen are being considered regular season games. I find it interesting since Rose-Hulman is probably the best of the three teams that shouldn't be on our schedule, and the only NCAA team of the three. It won't count for our NET ranking. No NCAA Non-D1 will. It's a good thing it doesn't count toward the NET because it would hurt us a lot.

I'm not fond of those two games, either, especially both, but they are what they are. From the one Lewis interview that I just read, it looks as though he really plans the early schedule, especially with all the new faces that we have this year, so we can be tested in some games, but likely be able to get some game experience, for some of the less experienced players on the roster, in other games. I know, too, he spoke one time last year about being prudent with the finances and not have too many travel games in the OOC sshedule that costs us a bunch of money in travel expenses. I think it was Manhatten that he talked about that would do a home and home but it would cost us a chunk to travel to New York to play. Wasn't worth it. We go through this every year, but we aint't gonna get the big programs to come here and play. I said laat year that I'd welcome an eight game OOC that was a home and home, YEARLY, with Evansville, Indiana State, maybe Valpo, or Northern Kentucky or Ft. Wayne or Southern Indiana. Good games, more fan interest, and way less expensive. Lastly, why are we worried about our rating. It ain't likely that we're in contention for the March Madness 68 team field, so why the concern about the rating ??

We have zero reason to care about net rating.. Keep stacking wins against weak opponents so wr can say we are 5/0 what ever. Casuals dont care opponent build bigger crowds off thst

I'm not concerned about NET ranking. Just pointing out the damage that would be done if non-D1 opposition counted, and the fact that it doesn't. Don't read too much into that. If we go undefeated we still won't be getting an at-large bid with this schedule.
However, if we were to somehow win the MAC Tournament we would give a damn about our NET ranking which is used to help determine seeding in the NCAA Tournament.

Best out of conference record against non-D1 teams is likely to be “Worthen Banner Worthy”

I think it's more likely we will win the next 30 national championships in a row than it is for you to wake up next to america's top model.
