Probably true. There are a bunch of really good teams out there but the MAC has Toledo, BSU. Kent and maybe BG or Ohio that would cause some chaos in the tourney. Gonzaga is really good. Beat Toledo by21 early in season.

With Toledo at 68 and Cards at 75 NET ranking, looks like a one bid conference again Unfortunately as usual that's true. Hopefully Sallee's team has a 2014 or 2022 type of MAC tournament run where they exceed their MAC seeding rather than the typical Cleveland showing.

The Big Ten womens tourney is of today a debris field. Maryland? Reminded me of Custer and in this case Maryland was the Souix nation. Buffalo is a good team with Watson who was unstoppable when they played at Worthen. Kent State game was brutal but don't see them hitting 6of 8 three pointers at Cleveland but still if we get by Western not thrilled about playing Kent again.

You all do realize that the Lady Cardinals are playing their first tourney game on Wednesday around 4pm and hopefully more than just one game. They play Ohio. Give the team some nice thoughts as you attend the viewing of the men's team at Meeks.

I have very high regard for the ladies team, but, I can't see them getting by Toledo, if they make it to that match up. Too many times we've not played well in the tourney. Really need to get the job done this year.

I think that Toledo would have to have an off night shooting the three. The big upset would be Buffalo beating Toledo with Watson hitting every shot which she did aginst us at Worthen. Kent kept it close with Toledo for most of the game but ran out of gas in the fourth. We will have to beat Ohio, Kent and Toledo which will be a tall order which our consistency may carry us through. If not maybe the committee will take two from the MAC. WNIT is ok with me. I also don't think that Toledo or BSU have been shown the national respect they deserve.Hopefully Bischoff will get her touch back. We have played well but have gotten beaten by teams such as Buffalo, BG and Toledo because we were missing a key player which hurt us in the tourney. We have amore complete team now. Hampton has made a huge contribution( 5 steals against Buffalo) Alex Richard has moved from mediocrity to being the leading scorer in the last two or three games. Annie Rouch and Marie K. much improved from last year. Our rebounding must stay at a high level and I do get concerned about how we make lazy passes sometimes. We do adjust to the ebb and flow of the game for example we took the full court press off against Kent as they were breaking i and making lay ups.

Honestly, not sure Becki deserved first team based on her last 10 games or so. She has a lot to prove in the MAC tourney.

Western led Toledo at the half by 10 but peer usual ran out of gas in the second half as Toledo defense tightened up. Buffalo beat BG by one or two to advance.

If Brady runs the table he gets 30 wins. With both men/women playing at same time, I would bet hotels are hard to get in Cleveland.
