I think our celebrations and ice cream parties are cute but in March it's the toughest that prevail. We felt like a finesse team and they rarely get it done in nut-cuttin time.

A week earlier BSU destroyed Buffalo. Our weakness all year has been rebounding but against big post players and big forwards etc. we weere outrebounded. Our 3pt.shooting faded in the last 6 games clogging up the middle It is hard to beat a team 3 times in a season. Ball state is a tough out for anyone the record speaks for itself. Very hard to beat teams by 15 to 20 points on their home court. We were 14 up on Kent at their place and Kent hit key 3p0inters and we won by 4. Buffalo and Toledo sceneero the same. Really reality check teams are not to celebrate victories? What do ice cream parties have to do with being tough? Maybe a bourbon and basketball party at an undisclosed location would be tough. These tourneys ae crazy the BIG Ten, Gonzaga getting beat, and the MAC. We need and enforcer in the post to help Marie and Alex etc. Yes our guards far too many times were not strong enough. Think the Smith twins will help solve that problem

Well it may be toughness counts but shooting 30% had something to do with it.

Celebrations have very little to do with game outcome. I seriously doubt that making a promo or posting on social media cuts into the mental focus or practice intensity in Brady’s program.
I don’t think you can fault a program for trying to generate some excitement for teams that consistently have 20 win seasons. Especially when they go to other MAC schools with similar success and see 5 times the amount of fans turning out.
Fault game plan and execution.

They had a historic regular season but didn't achieve either of their goals. Bad Karma. Just my old school opinion. |

It did become excessive but I guess they are trying to sell the brand and increase the fan base. You cant fault them for that but I do wonder if it all did not get in their heads a bit |

that loss is a bitter pill for all us to take particularly the team. Hope they can recover from this and make amends in the WNIT. I hope Toledo makes it to the NCAA along with Kent. I thank the team for a wonderful season that gave an old man great joy. The fact that our ladies beat the shit out of everyone in the conference cannot be taken away from them. This can go two ways we can rise up and finally prove wo we are in the WNIT or go through the motions and disrespect the season that we had. The other is the transfer portal. Attitudes could be that Well we have done everything we can here time to move on. Becki could make some $ somewhere else. I would like to think that loyalty still means something. Toledo is losing the heart of their team and Kent is also losing # of their key players but will be favored for MAC champs in 24-24. If we stay together and recruit some beef to replace Annie we will be fine. Rebounding!
