Halftime. IUPUI Leads 31-30. Cards 11% from the 3. 50% FT.
Defense was fine, but the offense looks confused today. Must be already thinking of Turkey tomorrow.

Good teams find a way. We found a way. Becki wouldn’t allow us to lose.

Usually we are really good with points off turnovers. Today: 13 points off 21 turnovers. That and 3 point shooting made all the difference.

ND win predictable. ND defense intimidated and took Beki out of the game. The skill set of ND reminded me of the title of the movie 'A League of their own". We have a good team playing other power teams will make us better particularly passing the ball and cutting down on unforced errors. WE did win the fourth quarter 23-18 against most of their starters. They put subs in as did we with about 2min to go. I think we have the skill level to adjust and become more competitive. We did with our press made ND turn the ball over 20+ times. We had some nice open 3s that didn't go in because we shot too fast and were not relaxed because of the ND defense. Playing some really good teams in the next two weeks and could lose them all but will get us ready to pound the MAC

Was there really nearly 6000 fans at the Notre Dame game with the students gone on Thanksgiving break. On TV it looked like a crowd around 2500 which was excellent for a women’s game that normally has a crowd of around 500. When I saw the official attendance, I was shocked at the official attendance listed!

5500 no but it was a good crowd maybe 4. I think they may fudged some numbers like taking the mens attendance and adding in womens . My mens season tickets were scanned at start of mens game. Tickets were good for both games

Huge disparity in talent. Watching my niece play at Michigan and watching the Cards play, the difference is pretty palpable.
The best MAC women’s players can play at the top level. Elissa Brett from BG is a 5th year transfer as well as Taylor Williams from Western is also a 5th year transfer at Michigan. Brett is getting around 15 minutes a game and Williams is starting at the 4. Brett seems to be on her best behavior from what I have heard about her past. She is one of my nieces (Alyssa Crocket) roommates. You can see why she drives opposing teams crazy as she is pretty tenacious on D. Williams is a very good rebounder but a terrible shooter. She plays because she can board. My niece is in the rotation as a sophomore and really loves playing at Michigan. Becki and her are real close. They played AAU ball together and played a bunch together this summer. Becki keeps badgering her to transfer to BSU. Unfortunately, she is not going anywhere and will most likely start next year. Becki could play in the Big 10 and start at some of the programs. She is a very good player.
