UAPB is not a good team. I have watched a few of their games this year because I had one of their players on my fantasy team (yes I play in a college bball fantasy league and it’s awesome). This team plays fast and wild. They shoot a lot from the outside and do not even try to get offensive rebounds.
If we can limit their fast break offense we should be ok this game. Hopefully no Thanksgiving hangover or Evansville effort today. Upstate game was a nice bounce-back. Let’s hope for a similar effort today.

Holy moly! Hendriks is starting! I agree he’s not good BUT perhaps he’s putting in hard work in practice and Lewis wants to reward him. He’s a big body in the middle and maybe can contribute defensively. Also, if Lewis is showing confidence in him to start, hopefully it will boost his overall confidence and have him play at a level he didn’t even think he (or anyone else) was capable of. |

I think we left our defense at the Thanksgiving dinner table. Really poor job attacking their zone. Defense and rebounding effort is pretty poor in the first half.

UAPB looked decent to me until the coach’s tech. Their schedule is killer

The balanced scoring today was awesome and will be an asset if they can do that moving forward. This team is going to have to do it with smoke and mirrors so there are going to be some UGLY games due to their lack of talent and experience but as long as they give effort and improve that will be a positive.

Much better second half. Bailey's injury looked bad. In a boot and with crutches.
