Great team effort in 2nd half on both ends of the floor. Everyone contributed…..especially Hendriks! Anderson is a quality point guard & floor general. Really like his game! Jihad had a good overall game, but still has moments where plays like Bambi on ice. Middleton looking more comfortable!!

UAPB is not a good team. I have watched a few of their games this year because I had one of their players on my fantasy team (yes I play in a college bball fantasy league and it’s awesome). This team plays fast and wild. They shoot a lot from the outside and do not even try to get offensive rebounds. If we can limit their fast break offense we should be ok this game. Hopefully no Thanksgiving hangover or Evansville effort today. Upstate game was a nice bounce-back. Let’s hope for a similar effort today. Did you give us the kiss of death by saying how bad APB is? They are bad, but we are fully capable of being worse in spurts, halves, and full games. Definitely crossed my mind though that I was going to jinx us. Haha! |

The lack of minutes for Doughty was just a bit puzzling after the game was pushing out in the 2nd half. I guess Lewis was rewarding Hendriks for his contributions.

Hendriks doing some good things early in the 2nd half. Well how long Coach goes with him. Going forward, these meaningful minutes will be a plus for him and the team no matter what his roles is. |

Making fewer mistakes. When he's played he's looked good at times, but with bonehead lapses and poor shot selection. Today less of both those negatives. Really hope Bailey is going to be OK and Watts recovers from injury. If so we can be good in the backcourt. |

Pretty obvious missing 6 weeks to his injury has him way behind. I think he’ll look different in a couple months. |

Lewis checked his bag of f*cks and discovered a total of zero left to give for any of that shit. Hendrix is playing because he’s also exhausted his bag of effs and is finally playing like a guy who’s been in college basketball for three damn years. I’m sure Mike has told him what the eff are you waiting for? Do you wanna be a shoulder shrugger or a Louisville slugger? Mix it up, get your balls back and man up son. Ben Jimi Hendrix is actually playing with some stones and has perhaps discovered he’s 6’ 10. Go kid. |

I thought I saw some improvement since the last game I actually witnessed, which was the ODU win.
Bailey showing a lot of confidence with his shot before his injury. Pearson not flashy but effective. Hendriks being active; he can be a bit of a menace defensively and if he just hangs around the rim and gets involved with a few pick and roll plays, he'll pick up some points. Jihad not as one-dimensional as earlier. Middleton looks to be building some trust with Lewis, nice assist/TO ratio and found it interesting that he took the technical foul shots. Kinda wish Jones was a little more aggressive with his offense but I think that's coming around, and he'll have a nice all-around game when it does.
I know Doughty looks lost now, but I think he's going to be a player for us. He "looks" bigger than anyone else on the team and he's got the frame to put on another 20 pounds, if not more. When he does that, and gains some experience and confidence, he's going to give teams some issues.
I'm disappointed Bell seems to have found Lewis' doghouse. I really had hoped he would be an impact player this year because he's got some tools I don't think too many on our roster possess.
Still, I previously predicted the Cards would lose 5 of the next 6. I sure hope I'm wrong there.

I'd have said the same thing, and that was the only issue, until Lewis's mention of him in the presser. I'm sure the layoff is a factor, and he will shake that off. But Lewis has been pretty blunt about practice effort earning game time. |

Much better second half. Bailey's injury looked bad. In a boot and with crutches. He had the crutches and boot but was walking around going up and down stairs at tge womens gamr |
