Should we be alarmed that 2 of the probably 10 worst games I can remember BSU playing have happened in the first 7 games of this season? No question about it, this game and the Evansville game have to rate in the top ten worst games of all time in Ball State basketball history!

How much worse would have been if their two best players would’ve suited up & played tonight? Somehow I bet we’d have been in the ballgame. Without them the rest of that squad just cut it loose. They had nothing to lose. Oddly, That probably doesn’t happen if the 2 best players played.

How much worse would have been if their two best players would’ve suited up & played tonight? Not much. Given that FG%. We certainly did not expect that.

Maybe, but I saw some pretty bad basketball in the Jim Holstein and Al Brown eras.

Post game interview. Lewis feels we went into our shell and hid when they came out and had an uncharacteristically good half shooting. We didn't fight back. We quit.

I can't remember the last time we lost so bad to a 200+ kenpom team. At least a decade? More?

I’m surprised Coach Lewis showed little emotion! Given our defensive play I would have thought he would have said a little more! Also, didn’t use any timeouts did he? Poor Coaching and poor play both tonight I had the same thoughts. Shitbird and Buckley drove me nuts when we needed to settle down and have a talk. How about a timeout? Lewis showed about the same spark as his team....none. This game was over at the half. Totally disappointed.

Without Bailey, we really don't have a consistent 3-point shooter. When Bailey isn't on the court, Pearson is about the only one I want to see even trying to shoot a 3-point shot. We better hope Bailey isn't out for long.

This is tied for the worst BSU basketball loss of all time. 1. 49 Notre Dame 80, BSU 31 12-7-1946 49 Purdue 96, BSU 47 12-12-1987 3. 48 Indiana 101, BSU 53 11-25-2012 48 Cincinnati 113, BSU 65 1-26-1955 5. 46 Xavier 96, BSU 50 12-8-2021 46 Indiana St. 65, BSU 19 2-24-1923

I listened to the game while redoing a Christmas wreath. Radio announcers said Little Rock had not shot better than 30% from the three point line, but were shooting 67% tonight. I guess that didn't show up on any tape the coaches watched making the game plan.
Go Cards!
