I can't remember the last time we lost so bad to a 200+ kenpom team. At least a decade? More? How about Evansville a couple weeks ago.

How about Evansville a couple weeks ago. Didn't realize Evansville was that bad given their record They are still only 202. They were 317 earlier in the season. I think they were around 250 when they played us. We dropped to 267 after tonight's game.

Kenpom is not going to like this result I thought it was KenPalm, and his sister Rosie.

I think every road game is going to be tough for us. If we lose to currently winless Detroit we will know how bad this team is.

The latest report from Gus Martin-- per Lewis, Bailey is going to miss a "substantial amount of time." That is not good for us.

We dropped to 267 after tonight's game. It's somewhat difficult to keep a handle on the ranking or our opponents. They have a tendency to move significantly upwards immediately after playing us. Meanwhile, we have on our hands the #265 team in the country playing the #333 schedule. Fortunately for Lewis, there appears to be a solid group of five other really awful teams in the MAC this year that, combined with the pathetic non-conf schedule, should tend to keep the record deceivingly respectable. Very reminiscent of the Taylor years.

Sometimes you eat the bear, sometimes the bear eats you.
BSU performed as poorly as that broadcast crew.

If our successs depends that much on one player, we are not much of a team! Little Rock had their two best players on the bench with injuries, yet they were still able to beat the crap out of the Cards! Doesn’t say much about our team!!!

He'd make the difference these early season games. Only "bright" spot is the freshmen get minutes. Maybe a plus later.

Sometimes you eat the bear, sometimes the bear eats you. BSU performed as poorly as that broadcast crew. Broadcast crew was pretty good...we play that well we lose by 10. Against that shooting I don't see us winning. I understand Lewis being pissed at the last 5 minutes of the first half, and for wanting us to play as if the second half was a new game. Middleton has talent, but not ready to be the guy to run the offense. They defended Anderson well, found how to slow Jihad. They forced us to play fast half court, and we were hesitant too often. Didn't find the better shot after passing up a good one. Our D appeared to be uncertain whether we were going to contest outside or stop inside play and block out. In the end we didn't do either all that well.
