If it’s happening this quick, it’s most likely low hanging fruit either internal hire like Elliot or Joey Lynch is coming back.

No surprise, Elliot is the new OC. More of the same coming.

Looks like “demoting” Kevin was just typical bs window dressing by Neu. Mitchell, and every single bsu fan ever: “we need to be better on offense.” Neu: “ok, I’m removing Kevin Lynch as Oc”. Us: “FINALLY!” Neu, quietly, in very small fine print: “and I’m replacing him with the guy who ran the shitty offense with Kev. Mwahahaha.”
Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.
so, we can look forward to more pro style drop back, pocket passing, one back set, two tight end, slow paced offense that runs on first and second down, throws a short pass short of the sticks on 3rd down (option to throw hapless go route on 3rd and 2), and punt. Yay.

Maybe Lynch was holding back Elliott's genius offensive mind.

This what I thought would happen and why I am losing my enthusiasm for this athletic program. How can we be fans when we have a complete incompetent as head coach. In the beginning I was a huge fan of Neu, but after eight years of losing and no effort to change, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. "I'm mad as hell and I'm not gonna take this anymore", to paraphrase a movie anchorman. The administration is telling us to sit tight and tolerate more losing. The definition of insanity is to do the same thing over and over again and expect different results...Welcome to the looney bin. I rest my case your Honor.

Yep. Was always gonna go this way. I do think Elliott is a little more progressive and creative than lynch, but, enough to make a real difference?

He was co-offensive coordinator this past year. Has Neu just given up? I am SO disappointed. A chance for real change is lost. Do I renew my season tickets - not sure.

Window dressing, and not a good job of it. This is no change.

Agree with all. Window dressing and a HUGE disappointment. However, who would take the job when it is likely only going to be a 1 year gig before the entire staff gets canned ?
