Looks like Jeff really put his foot down and now has his decisive stamp on the program. I assume he also got Mike a nice Christmas gift. You know how effective rearranging deck chairs on the titanic is! Aesthetically pleasing spaces make the chill of cold water even more tolerable. |

Hard to arrange deck chairs when the ship is getting horizontal and the band playing a real moral booster "Nearer My God to Thee". Our football team is currently taking on water because of early season collisions with KY and GA and---next year our Captain has a new/same OC to arrange deck chairs. The fight song very well could be difficult to hear because it is hard to play under water as our mighty little bird disappears into the deep. Many have already jumped ship accepting their fate of never getting into a game or being rescued by the NIL. Not sure I follow. "Early season collisions with KY and GA?" Are referring to injuries? Granted those injuries were a challenge. the really big challenge that cost the BSU programs was the lengthy process of QB musical chairs that took place. Why did it take the better part of six games to finally settle in on a QB that fit into characteristics if the BSU offense (i.e., an O-line not quite good for pocket protection, Neu's preferred QB style). Kelly is an RPO style guy and keeps defenses off balance. He's been working with Neu and Lynch for two years. Why was his pass execution so questionable. Injuries happen. Poor planning of your offense is unacceptable. Not having a starting QB until mid season is unacceptable. |

It's Neu's inability to hire a good staff, effectively leverage QB talent, play call in the 2000's let alone today, and coach fundamentals and discipline. |

Have we defined Lynch's new duties?
If he was QB coach, he sucked at that too.
Didn't he take an all-MAC running back and forgot he was on the team for 6 games?
Maybe I have Lynch confused with other coaching assistants.

He's still the QB coach. Which makes zero sense to me, other than, Lynch.

Lynch was not the RB coach. Hecklinski was. Lynch was and has been the QB coach for some time in addition to being OC.

This situation is horrible. We are stuck with this group of imposters for the future. How can a seasoned football professional with the resume of Neu be this (quite frankly) stupid. His moves on the changes needed in the staff are beyond ignorant, they make no sense at all. I have to stop at this point or I risk being banned for the next year...come to think of it, that would not be all bad.

The truth is yes they put some lipstick on a pig and its going to pass the eye test for most. We know more than 90% of everyone else that watches Ball State Football so we are not going to miss it.. The only hope is that Elliot does get full control and is more aggressive. He though was/is failed head coach whos offenses were never really great at the fcs level. We are adding some decent looking dudes through portal.. We should be healthier and Semonza should be good.. For the Kelly lovers which I am one Id be shocked if he is starter after spring its just not going to happen or if it does its going to be show for a couple games then we will turn to Semonza.. Our D will be good really good for Mac Stocktons getting to the point where he has it at a next man up at a Mac level barring a wave of injuries dont sweat that
