Let’s just add the w to the record but pretend this game never happened. We sure played like it never happened. This team needs another month of just practice. we really need Bailey back. After the Brittian-Watts news, I'm waiting for the Bailey is gone for the season next. |

A lot of our turnovers come on driving to the basket and trying to spin out of trouble. Mickey and Jihad are bad at this. There spin dribbles are always too high or out of control, so they’re easier to steal. Detroit took advantage of that.
We did shoot decent at the free throw line tonight which was nice. Definitely got away with one tonight.

We truly need Bailey as a couple said!!
We better get him back soon as Indiana State may be our toughest opponent this season!
Without Bailey we may lose big time on a neutral court

Just thought we didn't look ready to play from the outset. Second half we at least scored. Just not impressed with the whole package tonight.

Bailey is a critical guard and we are far better offensively and defensively with him. We need Middleton and Jones coming off the bench.

I don't see him as the savior but another shooter is welcome. He's a very solid defender and can handle the ball too. The ball handling part is were we really need him. The turnover problem isn't going away playing Hendriks, Pearson, Jones, and Jihad at the same time. |

Now we know why Detroit is 0-9. Couldn’t throw it in the ocean the final 10 minutes of the game with the exception of an occasional free throw. If Stone makes just a few baskets down the stretch the Titans win.

I think we're needing his shooting and D. More.
Of course we can use another good ball handler. But
Turnovers against an aggressive zone partly were caused by how we tried to attack it. The opponent fouls from that approach counteracted the turnovers, it was not a bad plan. I just think with another shooter in the lineup we might have not had to go inside as much.
The Anderson turnovers today and the frontcourt turnovers came too often inside the paint. Another guard would help some. But Jones, Middleton, Bell and Brown in 48 minutes had 3 turnovers while doing a lot of ball handling. Not horrible.
We needed shooting, Anderson, Jihad and Pearson (most of the TO) can avoid so much trouble if we have better outside shooting.

Opened them up inside, they couldn't double team us as easily. |
