What an incredible field Ball State will be playing in Friday and Saturday at the First Point Challenge in Austin, Texas. Defending NCAA champion UCLA, Stanford, USC, Penn State, Ohio State and Ball State make up very possibly the greatest group of volleyball teams ever assembled under one roof during the regular season. Each team is undefeated this season with the exception of BSU who lost 2 matches at BYU. Ball State will meet USC Friday at 2:30 and Stanford Saturday at 5:00. For the first time this season, BSU will have its entire team in tact as Cardinal Pre-Season All-American “Mr T” will be in the starting lineup for Ball State playing his 1st match of the season. Following the matches with USC and Stanford, BSU will meet 2022 national champion and unbeaten Hawaii Sunday, January 28th in Worthen Arena at 7:00.

Heavy hitters indeed. Are these matches on TV? All of the matches are being streamed on “Flo volleyball” and are pay per view.

Anybody ever going to give the real reason Mr T was not participating the first month. Cruz's reasoning has flipped and flopped the couple times asked

“Mr T” signed a professional contract last summer and then decided to stay at BSU so he was suspended the 1st 9 matches by the NCAA. He is now eligible for the remainder of the season. He played incredibly well in his first match against USC yesterday.

Really disappointing showing by the Cardinals. Hopefully they bounce back. Cruz has shown he can coach at the highest level, let's see if his recruiting is up to muster.
