Dominoes will fall again as the PAC-12 looks to rebuild, adding San Diego State, Boise State, Fresno State, and Colorado State from the Mountain West.
The PAC-12 will have to pay a huge fee to the MWC, but I fully expect them to add UNLV and 1 other (San Jose State?) so they can get to the 8 teams required to exist as a conference. The AAC might be vulnerable as well, but with each school getting $7 mill a year, they may not want to give that up for the unknowns of the PAC-12.
If the MWC loses 1 or 2 more members, that puts them below the 8 member threshold, so then THEY would look to poach schools from other conferences, probably Conference USA or Sun Belt.
The AAC is looking at Air Force (which I thought would go to the PAC-12),so who know what that would do.
It is wild out there. The only relatively stable conference is the MAC, only because nobody else wants us.
